Industry: Political Party
Overview

Our company was approached by a JD(S) organization that was looking to expand their reach and engage more people in their cause. One of the challenges they faced was that their website which was not upto the standard, which limited their ability to reach a broader audience. They also needed a way to collect leads and track their members.

To help the organization achieve their goals, we built a dual language website and a web application for lead collection. The website was available in both Kannada(regional) and English, and the web application allowed users to sign up to receive updates, volunteer, or donate to the organization.

Solution

To build the dual language website and web application, we used a combination of technologies and tools, including Php, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a content management system (CMS) to manage the website content. We also used a web application framework to build the lead collection application.

The key features of the dual language website included:

  • A responsive design that allowed users to access the website on any device, including desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones.

  • A clean and modern design that was easy to navigate and made it simple for users to find the information they needed.

  • A content management system (CMS) that allowed the organization to easily update the website content, including adding new pages and blog posts.

The key features of the lead collection web application included:

  • A user-friendly interface that made it easy for users to sign up to receive updates, volunteer, or donate to the organization.

  • A database that stored user information, including email addresses and other contact details.

  • A system for tracking and reporting on the number of leads and conversions, so the organization could see how effective their efforts were.

The dual language website and lead collection web application helped the organization significantly expand their reach and engage more people in their cause. Within the first month of launching the website, the organization saw a 50% increase in traffic, with a large portion of the traffic coming from Kannada-speaking users. Additionally, the lead collection web application helped the organization collect and track over 1,000 leads within the first months.

Lessons learned

Building a dual language website and web application was a challenging but rewarding project. We learned the importance of considering the needs of a diverse audience, and the benefits of using a combination of technologies and tools to build a powerful and effective solution.
